The public SCC Nexus brief is the canonical presentation layer. Version-controlled engineering and deployment are maintained in GitHub as part of the technical engine/provenance workflow; raw repository hosting is not presented as the institutional identity of the project.
Purpose
Create an inspectable bridge between fusion publications, diagnostic evidence and reproducible research review without allowing automated annotations to masquerade as scientific verification.

Diagnostic review records can retain FAIR-MAST UUID, shot number, diagnostic signal, annotated time interval, software version/commit, reviewer identity, assistance parameters and final human decision, with SHA-256 hashing.
The engine fails closed if an annotation export attempts to set scientific_claim_verified=true or publication_approved=true. Automated annotations without a recorded human decision are rejected.
Human diagnostic review is explicitly separated from automated assistance, and the public Observatory is separated from the private research Engine.
Valid for provenance-led evidence linkage and review workflow. Interactive or automated annotation is not treated as scientific verification or publication approval.

Public pages describe purpose, evidence principles and intended outputs. Credentials, private repository links, source-specific collection tactics, restricted implementation details, anti-abuse controls and other security-sensitive material are deliberately excluded.
