Local information network
PostcodeGo · the Go Network
PostcodeGo is the umbrella for connected local-information services. LewesGo is its Lewes-area destination; historic LewesLive and PostcodeLive labels are retained as provenance, not current target branding.
Brand and history
A shared platform, distinct communities.
The documented 8 October 2026 naming decision replaced LewesLive with LewesGo and PostcodeLive with PostcodeGo. Repository names and old URLs may still carry historical names while migration is reconciled.
The intended public domains are postcodego.co.uk and lewesgo.co.uk; live deployment and redirects have not been independently confirmed.
- LewesGo — local Lewes events, directory, place, travel and community information.
- SeafordGo, EastbourneGo and LondonGo — location-specific implementations or development repositories.
- HastingsGo, WorthingGo, ChichesterGo, UckfieldGo, CrawleyGo and HaywardsHeathGo — other repository-backed town initiatives.
- BrightonGo is discussed in the continuity record; its repository and deployment were not verified in this review.
Shared engines
Data should stay useful and checkable.
Events and business listings should preserve their source, location and freshness. Advertising experiments must be visibly labelled and kept separate from ordinary editorial content.
The portfolio uses Local Events Engine and Local Directory Engine where applicable; these are infrastructure projects, not proof that all towns are deployed.
- No fabricated events or business endorsements.
- Accessible, privacy-respecting local discovery.
- Source review and correction routes for all published local information.
Evidence boundary
Current state and validation
Project identity and associated repositories were checked on 24 October 2026. A repository or document's existence does not establish that its public website, latest build, pipelines or scientific conclusions have been validated. Claims and illustrative material remain subject to project-specific review.
