Redacted release and disclosure policy

Public-only descriptions of material approved for release, material withheld and the authorisation needed before research disclosure.

Public document only. This page does not offer a login to restricted materials. The words “redacted” and “private” do not by themselves enforce privacy; source-level selection and reviewed publication are essential.

Publication process

  1. Classify research material and its rights.
  2. Construct a minimum public allowlisted extract.
  3. Review identifiers, indirect identification, embargoes and scientific claims.
  4. Verify provenance and integrity; preserve private audit history.
  5. Publish only after required approval and provide correction mechanisms.

Independent review and corrections

Methods documents, public evidence snapshots and limitations are open for scrutiny; case-level data remain in the authorised research environment.

Send corrections, data-protection concerns or legitimate access requests through the SCC Nexus contact route.
