SCC Nexus · UPF26 Food Processing Evidence Observatory

SCC UPF · Food Processing Evidence Observatory

An evidence-first research programme asking what information disappears when packaged foods are reduced to a single processing label.

Research-stage disclosure: Evidence monitoring is operational, but the prospective 20-product study has not started and methodology release 0.1.0 is DRAFT. These pages do not claim peer-reviewed findings or clinical validity.

Research question

What meaningful information is lost when packaged foods are described only by a single NOVA category instead of separately reported composition, formulation, whole-food retention, processing and exposure dimensions?

This research question is prospectively falsifiable and allows a null or stop result.

Independent evidence boundaries

Automated bibliographic discovery, metadata corroboration, deterministic relevance screening and independent scientific review are separate steps. Index overlap does not establish independent scientific corroboration.
